Thank you to all of those that honored a brave cancer survivor, the memory of a loved one, a caregiver, or simply recognized someone in your life who has experienced cancer.
This year more than 140 tributes were made and 28 cash gifts were given. This made for a very powerful Lighting Ceremony. Karla Heeter and Jan Heyerdahl read the honoree’s names one at a time followed by the big tree being illuminated from top to bottom with pink lights and a surprise fireworks display. These lights will remain illuminated throughout downtown Buffalo for the month of October.
The giving doesn’t have to stop when the party ends! You can sponsor a String of Pink Lights for just $50 or give a gift of any amount to the Pink Street Party all year round. All donations are tax deductable and all of the funds stay in our community.
